Interview with Andre Fourie, AB InBev at World Biodiversity Summit – Montreal 2022

Anheuser-Busch InBev is a Principal Partner of World Biodiversity Summit 2022. On 11 December, Andre Fourie, Global VP: Sustainability at AB InBev participated in the Opening Session “Businesses and Finance for Biodiversity: Closing the Nature Finance Gap” and in the interview with the World Climate Foundation at World Biodiversity Summit in Montreal.


In this video interview, Andre Fourie shares how AB InBev contributes to the protection and restoration of biodiversity in its operations and value chain and highlights the critical importance of freshwater ecosystem security and investments in nature.

Andre Fourie is Global VP: Sustainability at AB InBev, the world’s leading brewer, focused on water, climate, packaging, agriculture and entrepreneurship. Andre was previously Head of Water Security and Environmental Value at SABMiller, responsible for managing the group value chain carbon footprint. He was Head of Sustainable Development at the South African Breweries (SAB), with a focus on water stewardship and sustainable agriculture. He is currently a member of the Taskforce on Nature-based Financial Disclosure (TNFD).
